I love "art"
This commercial won an award at a film festival. It may have been Cannes...maybe something else. Ignore the fact that the "Frenchman" looks and sounds like Andre the giant, and enjoy the simple brilliance of this commercial.

Ah, in a perfect world...
My father and I were watching "V for Vendetta" tonight and it made him think of a nightmare he said he'd had last night. In the dream, the Tea-Party had joined with all the local militias in America and had come to power. After they came to power, their "small-government-with-free-market" theories slowly turned into a religious, totalitarian government. My father said the whole time, people he knew were being taken and tortured. He was on the run, "hiding underground." I thought it was so funny: my father, afraid of those damn Tea-Partiers...
I told him not to worry, as the tea party has a lot of things they hate, but not a lot of answers as to how to fix ANYTHING.

I.Hate.Hippies
It is articles like THIS that reminds me how much I hate "Environmental groups" and how they want to "protect" the natural world. No matter what they do, they are, simply, INTERFERING with the natural world. Humans cannot act within nature, without unnaturally changing it. Yes, humans living in America changed the populations of Gray wolves in Yellowstone. But when we started trying to grow their numbers by "protecting them", their large numbers started eating a disproportionate amount of Elk. So we had to start hunting the Gray wolves and protecting the Elk.
They try to protect our coasts. But protecting the COASTS can kill more fish and sea-life by cutting off areas where these fish breed and they die anyway. This article isn't ALL that I'm talking about (since we're trying to protect them from our man-made oil errors), but this reminds me of trying to protect the DELTA when really you"re just trying to fight nature, protect human populations and branding it as "working to help the environment." It's a lie and it is selfish.
