Is there still any excuse for having a cat over a dog?

I had a conversation this weekend with a friend about cats vs. dogs. I my mind, they don't compare. Cats are little bitches and dogs are friends. Almost like the different between a TRUE asshole and a best buddy who sometimes ACTS like an asshole. There is no comparison. And seriously, no cat has EVER done this.

Why the baby state is making us a bad country
Based on THIS PRESS RELEASE in New York, cigarettes cost at LEAST $9. If our government wants us to be nicer to each other and take care of our "brother" they should stop charging so much for stuff we enjoy. Salt, cigarettes, alcohol, TRANS FATS! I mean, the last thing that I'm going to do at $9 a pack is let someone 'bum' a cigarette. I swear, if I paid $9 for a pack of cigarettes and a bum came up to ask for one, I would just murder him.

I wish this were an actual show

Wouldn't it be great if there were a show where actors and famous people just went and talked to Elmo? Like normal? If they don't come out with that show, the best I can ask is that they release more of these types of "behind the scenes" videos for me to watch and enjoy.

Why I don't teach at a Charter School
After reading HERE about how Charter School teachers an average of 7 grand less than public school teachers, and imagining the extra time investment that would be required to teach at one, THIS article, about how Charter Schools are not helping students any more than public schools are, really stood out to me. When I worked, school would end at 2:25 and I would usually stay past 5 to get my planning done. There's a joke that says "the reason teachers get 3 months off in the summer is because they have to cram 12 months of work into 9." I'm still sceptical about these Charter School things. Finding different ways to teach, I'm all for it. But don't throw the baby out with the bathwater until you know the bathwater is dirty and the air is not contaminated.............did that even make SENSE?
